My guest this week is a current European professional hockey player, former Edmonton Oilers defenceman, and overall awesome guy, Ladislav Smid. I was lucky enough to cross paths with Ladi this summer in Edmonton and fortunate enough to have him agree to come on the podcast. After a decade in the NHL, Ladi moved back to his home country of Czech Republic to wind down his pro hockey career. We talk about his time in the show, playing in Europe (and against Jagr), and his desire to help the young players of today face the challenges of tomorrow.
